Gift that keeps on Giving

When
God gave Jesus, He gave us a gift that keeps giving
to us, even today. The
Gifts that you will learn today will last longer
than any gift given to you in the world. It belongs
to you, being a child of God. Accept it now, to
you from Jesus.
Gifts that will last
forever.
1. A place for you in heaven - John
14:1-2
"Do not let your hearts
be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In
my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not
so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare
a place for you."
2. A Personal Escort into your home
in heaven - John 14:3
" And if I go and prepare
a place for you, I will come back and take you to
be with me that you also may be where I am."
3. You will walk in greater works
- John 14:12
" I tell you the truth,
anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been
doing. He will do even greater things than these,
because I am going to the Father."
4. The priviledge of Prayer - John
14:13-14
"And I will do whatever
you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory
to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my
name, and I will do it."
5. A Personal Comforter - John 14:16-18
"And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Counselor to be with
you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot
accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows
him. But you know him, for he lives with you and
will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans;
I will come to you."
6. An indwelling Spirit - John 20:19-22
"On the evening of that
first day of the week, when the disciples were together,
with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus
came and stood among them and said, "Peace
be with you!" After he said this, he showed
them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed
when they saw the Lord.
Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the
Father has sent me, I am sending you." And
with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive
the Holy Spirit."
7. The Peace of God - John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you;
my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the
world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid."
